Here's the number: 1-800-866-1998
I think there may be a flaw in the locking design of the 2008 Mazda CX-7. The car seems to lock itself. I find I leave doors open fearing the car will lock while I am outside of it. On more than one occassion I found the doors locked and only because a window or door was ajar I got in.
Today, both key sets found themselves in the car when the doors locked. The doors/windows were all closed. And, of course, the car was running. My warantee covers this sort of situation, thankfully.
Mazda Roadside Assistance (whose number was hard to find outside of my glovebox) acknowledged to me that this is a common occurance and "something" is wrong with the locking logic.
I also have a 2005 For Expedition. It has keyless (touchpad) entry. That system removes ALL fear of locking your keys in. But only Ford seems to have the feature. Spread the wealth, people!

Jerry, after considering several scenarios where you left the car running while you went merrily away on your errands, I think the flaw is in the driver...forgetting to turn off the vehicle and remove the keys once parked.......
Ha!!! I finally have access to your blog with this Mac!! Hope all is well.....We loved seeing you guys!
