Should I be worried? I don't know. We were driving home from the circus around 2PM today and I noticed what looks like the smoke from a forrest fire out by Wellington Lake.
When we got home I called 911 and they informed me that Elk Creek Fire Department was already on the scene to investigate some smoke.
This is the end of the summer so the likelihood of a fire is not very high, but there no snow and temperatures are warm and it's been dry for a while. Hopefully this is controled or controllable. I am sure it is.

I never followed up on this post; so, needless to say, I did not burn up. I eventually discovered it was a controlled burn that was poorly communicated to the community.
